Grown in the misty Taiwanese or Chinese mountains, many legends surround the origins of Tie Guan Yin. Named after the Goddess Guan Yin, the dark oxidised perfectly rolled leaves seemed to be glazed by light frost from its final re firing. The deep coppery brown liquor delivers a smoked and buttery aroma with decadent brown sugar notes lingering on the palate.
