Growing in the high mountains of the Yunnan region, in a foggy and pollution-free environment, Puerh tea was discovered thousands of years ago during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Over the last centuries the popularity of Puerh tea rose due to its medicinal attributes and revered fragrance. Modern production methods incorporate a new style known as Shou Puerh, which through an accelerated ageing process produces a bold, sweet and rich comforting tea, with lasting earthy flavour and a slight hint of smokiness and pine.
